Spatial control over ultrasonic cleaning of mining equipment using a phased array technology

Purpose. To develop methods for spatial control over ultrasonic cleaning by using phased array of radiators. simulate the process developed to prove their effectiveness. Methodology. Application as a basic radiator enables redistribution intensity in bath increasing it most contaminated zones cleaned object. Geometric and physical laws provide analytically defined parameters beam. Findings. The authors determine beam through considering input output data 3-D fuzzy interval controller. focus distance is calculated means arrival time threshold signal distances between sensor array. azimuth directed into center dependent on its height only. zenithal angle ratio intensities current arrays nearest adjacent ones towards greatest one. By default, with intensity. simulation reveals that applied approach 41.5% increase contamination zone, this improving energy efficiency reducing required treatment. Originality. suggest new forming cleaning, which distribution optimizing losses. Practical value. redirecting zones, allowing an large mining machines complicated configuration.
